Add a reception number or note to invoice
In a reconciliation entry, the associated listed invoices are in the Related Invoices section. Adding a reception number or a note is for information purposes only. These actions do not effect the reconciliation status. To change the status, see Update Reconciliation Status.
The invoices appear based on if an invoice has been loaded by Cimpl for the selected service ID. Having the account and provider allows to get the exact corresponding invoice.
Then the invoices show are based on the following dates thresholds:
- Greater equal 1st billing period and less than the month in which the workorder was flagged as Reconciled. Meaning that if the status is partially reconciled or not reconciled Cimpl shows the invoices as they come.
If there is no 1st billing period defined in a workorder, then invoice does not appear. For more, see Edit a Workorder.
Add a reception number:
- Go to Inventory > Billing Center > Reconciliation Tracker.
- Click on the entry from the grid. The service opens.
- Scroll to the Related Invoices section.
- Click the More Options button

- Select Add Reception Number.
- Enter the Reception Number.

Click Apply to save the number or Cancel to exit.
Note: You can update or correct the number by repeating these steps.
Add a note:
- Go to Inventory > Billing Center > Reconciliation Tracker.
- Click on the entry from the grid. The service opens.
- Click on the Service ID. Related invoices appear in the Related Invoice section below. If there are no related invoices, no invoices show.
- Select the checkbox of the invoice you want to add a note to.
- Click Bulk Actions.
- Select Add Note.
- Enter your Note.

Click Apply to save or Cancel to exit.
Note: You can append a note by repeating these steps and selecting Append instead of Update after clicking Add Note. If you leave Update selected, the original note is overwritten.
